Path of Exile Item Upgrading

Item upgrading allows players to enhance their weapons and equipment with new affixes, increasing its base stats or providing additional benefits. To upgrade an item, the player needs to have it in their inventory and have access to the kiln.

Items that have weak bases, such as rings can be upgraded to more robust bases. Items with bases that are strong, such as Titans from eth, have no changes in their stats.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be used to upgrade trinkets, armor, weapons and gathering tools, providing an added bonus or effect while the equipment is being used.
