Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos

The Narwal Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is one of the most efficient combinations I've ever tried. Its base station comes with a large water tank and dust bin, and its dual rubber brush is less likely to cause tangles in hair than single bristles.

Its mopping performance is top-notch and its AI mapping excels at avoiding obstacles. It also has the capability to pause its cleaning job and resume where it began.

1. Roomba Combo j9+

The Roomba Combo J9+ is a robot mop that doubles as a vacuum cleaner that is among the most advanced on the market. It has a sleek, self-emptying Clean Base that can store up to two mopping cycles. It's designed to look just like a desk. It's also the sole robot mop we've tested that comes with a water reservoir on board to automatically wash and refill the cleaning pads after each vacuum and mopping cycle.

The mopping arm is placed unobtrusively at the top of the unit. It lowers when it senses hard surfaces and begins to scrub. It moves slowly over surfaces to prevent spreading mud or wet spills on carpeted areas. It does a great job in keeping itself away from cords, furniture, and other obstacles.

It's more intelligent than other robot vacuums, too, thanks to the iRobot Home app, which allows you to customize your cleaning settings and prioritize rooms based on dirtiness, set cleaning times and schedules, and more. The app also provides detailed maps of your home, seasonal recommendations as well as custom cleaning routines and a variety of smart-home integrations that are easy to use.

This combination robot vac and mop uses iRobot's Imprint Smart Mapping technology to identify objects, like sofas, counters, and tables. And it can be controlled by Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri to help you clean your home without hassle.

In contrast to other mopping and vacuum robots that vacuum and mop, the Roomba J9+ makes an entire map of your home 7x more quickly than previous models and also labels each space by floor type, ensuring that it'll always be aware of when to vacuum or mop the area you want. It also has a Turbo Mode that boosts suction for areas that are difficult to reach. And with iRobot's Dirt Detective, it can detect your cleaning habits and preferences, allowing it to automatically adjust cleaning priorities and settings, such as mop scrubbing for the dirtiest parts of your home.

2. Yeedi M12 Pro+

With its premium features and user-friendly app control The Yeedi M12 Pro+ is an impressive competitor in the field of automatic vacuum and mop robots. Its powerful suction capabilities and cutting-edge mopping technology make it an ideal cleaning companion for smart homes. Its reasonable price and intelligent automation make it an ideal option for households with a tight budget.

To get started with the M12 software, download and launch the Yeedi app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network. After connecting the app will ask you to choose a unique name for your new robot. It's important to note that the M12 supports 2.4 GHz networks only.

The M12 provides a variety of cleaning robot mop and vacuum options for vacuuming and mopping. Its innovative design lets it map a room in less than six minutes and then adjust its cleaning path accordingly. Its advanced mopping features include dual spinning pads, as well as electronically controlled water as well as a "True Edge" Adaptive Edge Mopping System that ensures thorough cleaning of all edges.

In terms of navigation, the M12 makes use of LiDAR, IR, and 3D structured light to avoid obstacles. Its sensors are adept at detecting larger objects, such as HVAC vents and furniture. However, they may struggle with smaller objects, like cables and small rags which can cause the robot to miss areas.

The M12 can also detect and navigate up stairs thanks to its built-in inclinometer. It also has the ability to automatically return to its OMNI Station to clean and dry the mop brushes, and refill its water tank. If its batteries are low, the OMNI station can even automatically empty the trash bin and clean itself.

3. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot cleaner is at the cutting edge of robotic cleaning. It packs a variety of features in a small package. It comes with the largest mopping capacity, a camera for enhanced obstacles to avoid, and a powerful vacuum with the ability to sense when it's going over carpets. It also has advanced technology and voice assistant capabilities.

It is a powerful mop and vacuum cleaner. It was able to cover our 1,500 square foot test area within 101 minutes, and then the battery ran out and it returned to its dock. Its mop automatically cleans itself between uses. This feature reduces maintenance costs while keeping its pads clean. A dock sensor detects when a mop pad becomes dirty and initiates the wash cycle.

The S8 MaxV Ultra, like its predecessors, features an intelligent system that can recognize household items like pet waste and shoes using cameras and LIDAR. It performed well in our obstacle avoidance test with just one minor hiccup (it got stuck when unwinding a ball of wool that was tangled around its brush arm).

The S8 MaxV Ultra has a new 10,000pa worth of suction power, which is more than double its predecessor. This makes it a great option for homes with carpeting in abundance and different types of flooring. The vacuum can be programmed to automatically increase suction when it comes across dust or crumbs.

Like previous models, multiple docking stations are able to be set up to make it easier to clean and mop process. The docking station can be connected to the home plumbing system and drain and replenish the tank of water when you're done.

4. Dreametech X40 Ultra

The Dreame X40 Ultra is the latest flagship robot mop and vacuum cleaner from Dreame, and it offers a few features that Dreame's less expensive models lack. It has a powerful suction system and can mop floors effortlessly. It also comes with a variety of advanced features, such as self-detangling roller brush heads and auto-extending mop heads, that make it a perfect option for cleaning hands-free. The X40 Ultra offers automatic cleaning of its base station as well as a dust collector filter. The mop pads are automatically cleaned and drained in hot water. After each cleaning session, the dirty water tank will also be automatically emptied.

It provides advanced options to customise the cleaning schedule. For example you can set the exact start and stop time for each cycle, or whether it should be able to vacuum carpets first before mopping. It can also be told to re-clean areas that are particularly filthy and then increase its suction power around litter boxes for cats as well as pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra can be programmed to perform specific tasks upon demand, such as cleaning the kitchen sink or bathroom toilet. It is also able to automatically lift its front side brush when it spots wet areas and clean up debris from corners and baseboards.

The X40 Ultra is easy to set up and use it, with a simple and intuitive app and a broad range of features. It is quieter than most corded vacuums, with only occasional low hums from its motor and bursts of suction during cleaning. Its navigation system, which uses a camera and 3D structured lights, as well as multiple lasers, and a 3D structured light to detect and avoid obstacles, is awe-inspiring. This helps the X40 Ultra receive one of the highest scores in our tests for obstacles to avoid.

5. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro has been designed as an efficient mop and vacuum that is also user-friendly. Its gunmetal-colored base station is self-emptying and it fills its own tank with clean water, automatically empties the dust bin into a smaller container, and washes and dries its own mop pad in between cleaning sessions. It also comes with a sophisticated feature set that lets it switch between rugs and hard and effectively remove dirt and pet hair from carpets and high thresholds in rooms.

The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping capabilities, thanks to its internal dToF system. It can keep the appearance of a low-profile, while offering top-notch object detection. It can drive close to walls and avoid steps without crashing. It also raises the mop automatically when driving on short-pile or rugs carpets. However, it struggled a little when encountering longer-pile carpets as well as large, thick messes of dried-on debris.

The S1 Pro is ready to go straight out of the box and it only needs an easy mapping session to learn about your home. After that, the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or combined when needed. You can also design virtual boundaries areas, no-go zones and no-mop zones if you don't want the robot to touch specific items.

The S1 Pro is a great choice for homes with different types of flooring because it can mop and vacuum. However, its reliance on a Eufy-branded cleaning solution (which is included in the box) makes it less flexible than other robots that let you build your own solutions. Its ability to vacuum and mop makes it an ideal option for homes that have floors of both types but its dependence on a Eufy-branded cleaning solution (which is included in the box) could make it less flexible than some other robots that let you add your own solutions.
