Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like a weapon, armor, or rings. This replaces the item with an identical item, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't retain the level of the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.
The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment such as increasing its damage.
Players can roll their equipment into three categories three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, while rare upgrades require a special or legendary item upgrader mod and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next success result is to be rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open, they display a full description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto the new gear.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. There are many methods to get these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that particular area. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be used, as well as an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can add an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide more effects or an improved quality of the item. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Some items are better off being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item upgrader mod. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
