The item upgrader is an additional widget at the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no gameplay benefit other than making it easier to buy upgrades.

It takes time to upgrade an item. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it can take anywhere from 8 to 12 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated based on the item's new ilvl bonus, perks, as well as other properties.
