Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another item of the same type and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.

The survivors can get reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates, or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment with three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To create them, you need a higher-quality token to reroll. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next success result is rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.

In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item upgrades by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the Best Item upgrade's level, and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item. It's an excellent option for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can put in a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

upgrade items components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Some items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but more because it allows players to get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of the item and the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

Once you've met the required requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
